Goli, a poor boy in a Jammu village, dreams of becoming a football player, but his wretched circumstances force him to take up his father's profession of painting statues. In his late 20s, he bumps into Rekha, another passionate football player who had been married off at a young age. She however continues to play street football with the village children, coaching and encouraging them to pursue it. Goli contemplates joining forces with her to realise his dream, but the journey of becoming a champion is riddled with hard work, trials, and unexpected heartaches.
